The, virtual, International Center for Women’s Leadership in Emergency Management, Homeland Security and Business Continuity™ is committed to promoting and developing women and youth leadership skills and conducting research on the impact of disasters and emergencies on women and children. The Center was conceptually designed in 2010, formally introduced and established under inWEM as part of the Articles of Incorporation, and approved by the Incorporators and Board of Directors on November 16, 2014. Launched in 2014, this virtual Center is designed to empower women through “conversations”, webinars, workshops, seminars, colloquiums, symposiums, and conferences and provide women and youth the necessary tools and an opportunity to interact with organizations, distinguished scholars, practitioners and leaders in the Emergency Management, Homeland Security and Business Continuity professions.
